Brittany M. Yurchyk is an associate with Pollock Begg Komar Glasser & Vertz LLC, trained in dispute resolution methods of divorce and family law. After earning a certificate from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution, Brittany applied her training in legal practice, expanding her knowledge base to include mediation, negotiation and arbitration family law tactics.
Brittany received her Juris Doctor from the Pepperdine University School of Law in 2011. During her law school tenure, Brittany won five prestigious CALI Excellence for the Future Awards, which are awarded to the student with the highest grade in the class. She also served as editor of the Los Angeles Public Interest Law Journal. Throughout her time at Pepperdine, Brittany worked as a certified legal intern, representing homeless and indigent clients in a variety of support and child custody issues for the Family Law Clinic on Skid Row in Los Angeles.
Most recently, Brittany served as a law clerk to the Honorable William F. Ward in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County, Family Division, where she assisted with cases relating to divorce, child custody, protection from abuse, juvenile delinquency and other family law matters.
She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Family Law Section, as well as the Family Law and Collaborative Law sections of the Allegheny County Bar Association.
