Biography

Kelsey M. Ward is an associate attorney at Pollock Begg Komar Glasser & Vertz LLC with a diverse practice covering all areas family law. She particularly thrives when helping clients unravel complex custody issues.  Kelsey’s meticulous preparation and attention to detail allow her to identify and leverage each case’s unique components.  An exceptional communicator, Kelsey explains all conditions to her clients throughout divorce and custody proceedings so they are always aware of their case standing.

Kelsey worked as a law clerk at Pollock Begg, during her law school tenure in addition to interning for Judge John L Musmanno of the Pennsylvania Superior Court and Judge Cathleen Bubash of the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas. Kelsey is pleased to return to Pollock Begg as an associate after gaining experience at another family law firm immediately after graduating from law school.

Kelsey earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where she received a prestigious CALI Excellence for the Future Award in family law, the Wilder, Mahood, McKinley & Oglesby Family Law Award, participated in the University of Pittsburgh Family Law Clinic and served as topics editor for the Journal of Environmental & Public Health Law.

Outside of the office, as an active participant in the legal community, Kelsey is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, the ACBA Young Lawyer’s Division and Public Service Committee, and the Women’s Bar Association.  She enjoys spending time with family and friends and her dog, Gracie. She loves traveling, snowboarding, and exploring local restaurants, wineries, and breweries (but, probably not with Gracie)!
