Pittsburgh Family Law Firm Pollock Begg Komar Glasser & Vertz LLC Adds Two Divorce Attorneys

PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh family law firm Pollock Begg Komar Glasser & Vertz LLC adds two new divorce attorneys, Lindsay A. Nemit and Kelsey M. Ward, to its roster.

Nemit began her legal career as an associate attorney at Greg Castelli & Associates before joining the ranks at Pollock Begg. She received her Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law where she was a teaching and research assistant and served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Patricia A. McCullough of the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania. During her law school tenure, Nemit received several accolades including: Best Appellate Brief Award, Outstanding Oral Argument Award and the CALI Excellence for the Future Award. Nemit is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, Family Law Section and Young Lawyers Division, as well as the Pennsylvania Bar Association and Duquesne Law Alumni Association. She is admitted to practice law in both Pennsylvania, and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.

Ward earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. During her law school tenure, she worked as a law clerk for Pollock Begg, as well as an intern for Judge John L Musmanno and Judge Cathleen Bubash. After a short stint at another family law firm, Kelsey returned to Pollock Begg. Previously, she also participated in the University of Pittsburgh Family Law Clinic and was topics editor for the Journal of Environmental & Public Health Law. She is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division and Public Service Committee, as well as a member of the Women’s Bar Association.
