Pollock Begg Komar Glasser & Vertz Expands Attorney Base

PITTSBURGH – Downtown-based family law firm Pollock Begg Komar Glasser & Vertz LLC adds experienced divorce attorney Heather Trostle Smith to its ranks as an associate. Smith was most recently an associate attorney with Gentile, Horoho & Avalli, P.C., a Pittsburgh firm dedicated to family law and estate litigation. She also formerly served as an attorney at the commercial litigation firm of Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP where she gained experience in personal injury law, professional liability and complex commercial matters.

She is a member of the Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Allegheny County Bar associations and previously co-chaired the Program and Legislative committees as a member of the ACBA Family Law Section Council.

Smith received her Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law. While at Wake Forest University, she was awarded the National Association of Women Lawyers Outstanding Law Student Award and the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers Most Outstanding Advocate Award.
