2001
After two of the biggest law firms in Pittsburgh eliminate their matrimonial law departments, attorneys David S. Pollock, Todd M. Begg, Daniel H. Glasser and Candice L. Komar partner to build a niche firm dedicated solely to family law.
Pollock Begg Komar Glasser LLC launches at 437 Grant St. (Frick Building) with 4 partners, 2 associates and 3 administrative staff.
Brian C. Vertz joins as partner.
2002
Continues to add attorneys, bolstering its associate numbers.
2003
Partners take on leadership roles within matrimonial law organizations and are called upon for teaching and speaking opportunities.
2004
Stephanie L. Jablon (Mihalko) joins as associate.
Continues to add attorneys and garners consistent industry recognition.
2008
Forging a new path into Alternative Dispute Resolution tactics, attorneys earn certifications in mediation, collaborative law and arbitration, cementing the firm’s place as an ADR pioneer in the Pittsburgh region.
All five of the firm’s partners are named to The Best Lawyers in America.
2009
Law Clerk Joseph R. Williams joins as associate.
Now boasting 14 associates, the firm is recognized as the largest dedicated solely to family law in the Pittsburgh area.

Changes name to Pollock Begg Komar Glasser & Vertz LLC.
