UP FOR A CHALLENGE. READY TO SERVE.
Lindsay A. Nemit skillfully handles complex divorce and custody cases with a strong collaborative focus.
Pittsburgh family law attorney Lindsay A. Nemit was drawn to the practice of law by the intellectual challenge inherent in the work and the opportunity to help people through exceptionally vulnerable times. As a certified collaborative family law attorney, she strives to meet clients’ legal requirements while respecting their privacy, resources and time.
Her perseverance, unwavering commitment and empathetic nature allow her to build strong, trusting relationships with clients, ultimately helping her guide them to solutions to meet their expressed needs and interests.
Lindsay furthered her expertise with specialized collaborative family law training and participates in the Collaborative Law Association of Southwestern Pennsylvania and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.
Prior to beginning her legal career as an associate attorney at Greg Castelli & Associates, Lindsay was a teaching and research assistant at Duquesne University School of Law and served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Patricia A. McCullough of the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania. During law school, Lindsay received numerous accolades and participated in the Duquesne Urban Development Practicum, providing pro bono legal services to distressed communities.
When she leaves the office, Lindsay is a busy mother — running to dance, softball, after school activities and engaging in volunteer opportunities at her daughter’s school. A born and bred Pittsburgher, you’ll often find her enjoying Pirates games, movies in the park, or whatever else the city has to offer that weekend!
