Lindsay A. Nemit is an associate attorney at Pollock Begg with a comprehensive family law practice including complex custody and divorce. Clients value her logical thinking, perseverance and unwavering commitment. Lindsay’s empathizing nature allows her to build a strong trusting relationship with clients, ultimately leading to a more comprehensive understanding of each particular situation.
Prior to beginning her legal career as an associate attorney at Greg Castelli & Associates, Lindsay was a teaching and research assistant at Duquesne University School of Law and served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Patricia A. McCullough of the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania. During her law school tenure, Lindsay was the recipient of several accolades including: Best Appellate Brief Award, Outstanding Oral Argument Award, and the CALI Excellence for the Future Award. She was a member of the Duquesne Urban Development Practicum and provided pro bono legal services to distressed communities as both a student attorney and practicum manager.
A Pittsburgh native, Lindsay is excited to build her career in the city she loves, and is an active participant in the legal community. Lindsay is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, Family Law Section and Young Lawyers Division, as well as the Pennsylvania Bar Association and Duquesne Law Alumni Association. She is admitted to practice law in both Pennsylvania, and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
When she leaves the office, Lindsay is a busy mother — running to dance, softball, after school activities and engaging in volunteer opportunities at her daughter’s school. She loves Pittsburgh and you can often find her at Pirates games, movies in the park, or whatever else the city has to offer that weekend!
