Megan A. DelVecchio is an associate attorney at Pollock Begg with a comprehensive family law practice, extensive trial experience, specialized training in mediation and skilled technique working collaboratively to settle cases out of court.
Megan strives to keep clients informed and eliminate surprises in the divorce process. Her goal is always to provide the best representation while calming fears and putting her clients at ease.
Megan joined Pollock Begg after solidifying her family law focus working at two Pittsburgh-based law firms. Along the way, she’s garnered recognition on the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Stars lists from 2018-21.
A native of Pittsburgh’s North Hills, Megan is passionate about enhancing the local legal community. She is a volunteer with Christian Legal Aid of Pittsburgh, a nonprofit legal clinic providing services to individuals in need each Monday evening on Pittsburgh’s North Side.
An active member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, Megan participates in the Young Lawyers Division and Women in the Law Division. She has chaired the Membership and Social committees of ACBA’s Family Law Section and currently serves as co-chair of its Professionalism Committee. Additionally, she participates in the Family Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association where she has frequently provided case law updates.
A proponent of continuing legal education programs, Megan has presented seminars for the Matrimonial Inns of Court, Pennsylvania Bar Association, Allegheny County Bar Association and Duquesne University School of Law.
She is graduate of Duquesne University School of Law where she participated in the Family Law Clinic, Civil Rights Clinic, Criminal Prosecution Clinic and earned a Pro Bono Certificate. Megan is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court, Western District of Pennsylvania.
Travel and exploring new restaurants are two of Megan’s biggest loves. The COVID-19 pandemic encouraged her to take up a new hobby – golf – with her other love, her husband, Steve.
