ATTENTIVE ADVOCATE. COMMUNITY CHAMPION.

Pittsburgh family lawyer and certified collaborative law attorney Elisabeth W. Molnar manages complex divorce, support and custody cases with skill and compassion.

Elisabeth Molnar brings 20 years of dedicated family law experience and an enthusiasm for helping families through difficult transitions to her practice at Pollock Begg.

Elisabeth enjoys the challenge of complex custody cases, including those involving expert testimony from psychologists and social workers. She complements her background and skill in civil litigation with certification in collaborative law, providing clients with representation options to meet their unique needs and circumstances.

With a knack for untangling complicated business valuation issues, she is skilled in helping business owners, physicians and other legal professionals through the divorce process.

Whether litigating a case or negotiating a settlement, Elisabeth prides herself on responsive representation, openly communicating with clients and building trust at every stage of the legal process.

A Duquesne University School of Law graduate, Elisabeth worked for a year at a Pittsburgh civil litigation firm where she developed a talent for and found satisfaction in leading successful cross-examinations. Finding the most fulfillment in family law cases, she joined Raphael, Ramsden & Behers in 2004, focusing exclusively on family law matters for the next two decades and delving into alternative dispute resolution with her collaborative law training. Taking an active role in hiring, mentoring and training young associates, she was named as a partner at Raphael, Ramsden & Behers in 2010 and promoted to shareholder in 2017.

Along the way, she worked to level the legal playing field for children and families in need, serving on the board of directors of the Pittsburgh Pro Bono Partnership. Additionally, she served as chair of the Allegheny County Bar Association’s Family Law Section for two years and served as co-chair of its Children’s Issues Subcommittee.

Elisabeth and her husband, John, live in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. A graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, she now is an active supporter of school and sporting events in the West Jefferson Hills School District as her two children make their way through the district. Elisabeth enjoys hiking, both locally and in exotic vacation locales.
