PITTSBURGH — Candice L. Komar, a founding member of Downtown-based Pollock Begg Komar Glasser LLC was recently inducted into the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. She was recognized by the prestigious organization for her leadership, promoting the highest degree of professionalism and excellence in the practice of family law. Membership in the AAML is by invitation following a review of criterion including a minimum of 10 years of practice in matrimonial law, demonstrable involvement in the field and study, and a rigorous interview and examination process.
Komar has more than 25 years of experience in family law, including considerable trial experience in Allegheny and surrounding counties, particularly in valuation of closely held business interests, complex support cases and custody matters, including custody relocation. Komar has also been named to the Top 50 Women Attorneys in Pennsylvania and the Top 50 Attorneys in Pittsburgh by Pennsylvania Super Lawyers. Komar joins her peers, David Pollock and Brian Vertz, also partners at Pollock Begg, who were previously inducted into the AAML.
