Candice Komar to Present at Pennsylvania Bar Association Summer Meeting

PITTSBURGH – Candice L. Komar of Pollock Begg Komar Glasser LLC will be presenting at the Pennsylvania Family Law Section Bar Association Summer Meeting, July 7-10, 2011, in Lake George, NY.

The semi-annual meeting is a multi-day event consisting of educational and networking programs for family law attorneys and judges based throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Komar will be speaking in a workshop entitled “Never Can Say Goodbye” on transferring and closing client files. She will be part of a four-person panel that explores the legal and ethical ramifications of transferring and closing client files.

Other panel members include Mark B. Dischell of Dischell Bartle Yanoff Dooley, Mary Vidas of Blank Rome, and Thomas G. Wilkinson Jr. of Cozen O’Connor. The course planner is Missy Boyd of High Swartz LP of Norristown, Pennsylvania.

Komar is a founding member of Pollock Begg with more than 25 years of experience in family law. She has considerable trial experience in Allegheny and surrounding counties, particularly in valuation of closely held business interests, complex support cases and custody matters, including custody relocation. Komar is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and has been recognized in the Top 50 Women Attorneys in Pennsylvania and the Top 50 Attorneys in Pittsburgh by PA Super Lawyers for 2009-11.
