Family Law Attorney David Pollock Receives Pennsylvania Bar Association Award

PITTSBURGH — Family law attorney David S. Pollock, founding partner of downtown Pittsburgh firm Pollock Begg Komar Glasser & Vertz LLC, will receive the Eric Turner Memorial Award from the Pennsylvania Bar Association Family Law Section during the PBA Family Law Section Winter Meeting in January 2017.

The Eric Turner Memorial Award honors a lawyer who is dedicated to the practice of family law and who serves as a mentor and teacher to fellow lawyers.

Named to Best Lawyers in America for more than 15 years and Pennsylvania Super Lawyers since its inception in 2004, Pollock holds numerous professional accolades and is a frequent author and lecturer on legal matters. One of Pittsburgh’s preeminent family lawyers and divorce attorneys, Pollock is a fellow of the American and International academies of Matrimonial Lawyers, a member of the Duquesne University School of Law Dean’s Advisory Board and editor-in-chief of Pennsylvania Family Lawyer, the official publication of the PBA Family Law Section. Pollock is also a repeat recipient of the PBA Family Law Section Special Achievement Award for both improving the association and the legal profession. He was a 2015 recipient of the prestigious Pittsburgh Business Times Diamond Awards.
