Members of Pollock Begg Legal Team to Lecture on Tax Issues in Separation, Divorce

Educational series runs March 18 through April 17 at locations throughout Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH — David S. Pollock, a founding partner of Downtown-based family law firm Pollock Begg Komar Glasser & Vertz LLC, along with firm associate Robert D. Raver will present “Tax Aspects of Separation and Divorce,” an educational lecture series co-hosted by the Community College of Allegheny County and Pennsylvania State University.

The classes run Monday, March 18, through Wednesday, April 17, at various locations and times throughout the Pittsburgh region and will address several divorce taxation issues, including recent changes in the IRS code that impact family law. The sessions are open to the public, but are recommended as most beneficial for Certified Public Accountants. Each lecture lasts approximately three hours.

• Saturday, April 13 at 8 a.m. — CCAC South Campus, 1750 Clairton Rd, West Mifflin, PA
• Wednesday, April 17 at 6:30 p.m. — CCAC West Hills Center, 1000 McKee Rd. Oakdale, PA

A frequent author and lecturer on legal matters, Pollock is one of Pittsburgh’s pre-eminent family lawyers and has received numerous accolades for his professional accomplishments, including being named to Best Lawyers in America for more than 15 years and Pennsylvania Super Lawyers since its inception in 2004.
