Obtaining Credit Card Records from Bank of America

October 15, 2010

It can be frustrating to obtain records from large, decentralized financial institutions like Bank of America. You can send them an authorization signed by their customer, and they still won’t respond for months, if at all.

Recently a friendly telephone representative told me that the best way to get records from Bank of America is a phone call from their customer to their 800 number. A subpoena will also work. Their address is: Bank of America, Attn: Legal Order Processing (Card Service), 1825 E. Buckeye Road, Phoenix AZ 85034. Be sure to write “Mail Code A29-502-02-04” on the envelope.

I thought it might be nice to share this information with others.
