Pittsburgh Divorce Attorney Morgan M. Bonekovic Recognized Among High-Achieving Alumni of Slippery Rock University

PITTSBURGH  – Pittsburgh family law attorney and Pollock Begg Associate Morgan M. Bonekovic was honored among Slippery Rock University’s “Rock Solid 10 Under 10” for 2022.

The university’s Alumni Association bestows this honor each year on 10 individuals who graduated no more than 10 years ago and have achieved significant professional and personal accomplishments in that time. Bonekovic was recognized with the 10 Under 10 award on June 11, 2022, as part of the University’s Alumni Weekend.

Bonekovic graduated from Slippery Rock in 2012 with degrees in criminology/criminal justice and philosophy. She was a member of Delta Zeta sorority, a connection she’s maintained since graduation, serving as Alumna Advisor for Recruitment at the University of Pittsburgh and Alumna Advisor for Programs at Slippery Rock University. In 2020, she received the 35 Under 35 Award from Delta Zeta National Sorority, highlighting outstanding young professionals impacting their industries, demonstrating leadership, initiative, dedication to their careers and commitment to volunteerism.

As a practicing attorney, she is making her mark in the legal community through a variety of volunteer roles and leadership positions.

In February, Bonekovic received the Allegheny County Bar Association Homer S. Brown Division’s Young Leader Award, recognizing an attorney under age 40 who exhibits leadership qualities and a commitment to the promotion of equality and justice and who actively participates in the division and other ACBA groups.

In addition to her involvement in the Homer S. Brown Division, she serves on ACBA’s Family Law and LGBT Rights committees. In 2021, Bonekovic was elected to serve on the ACBA Young Lawyers Division Council and to represent the Young Lawyers Division on the ACBA Judiciary Committee. She is a 2020 graduate of ACBA’s Bar Leadership Initiative and is a committee member of the Pennsylvania Interbranch Commission for Gender, Racial & Ethnic Fairness.
