December 14, 2016 | Community
We are excited to announce David S. Pollock, founding partner of our downtown Pittsburgh family law firm, will receive the Eric Turner Memorial Award from the Pennsylvania Bar
Association Family Law Section during their annual winter meeting, Jan. 13 – 15, 2017.
The Eric Turner Memorial Award honors a lawyer who is dedicated to the practice of family law and who serves as a mentor and teacher to fellow lawyers. Founded in 1895, the Pennsylvania Bar Association exists to promote justice, professional excellence and respect of the law; improve public understanding of the legal system; facilitate access to legal services; and serve the 27,000 lawyers who are members of the association.
One of Pittsburgh’s preeminent family law attorneys, David has a zealous commitment to service and leadership, particularly within the legal industry and we are especially thankful for his guidance and experience. He has served on committees and advisory boards and lectured for The Pennsylvania State University, Community College of Allegheny County and Duquesne University. David holds numerous professional accolades and is a frequent author and lecturer on legal matters. He has served as editor-in-chief of Pennsylvania Family Lawyer, the official publication of the PBA, Family Law Section, for more than 20 years.
