Pittsburgh family law firm Pollock Begg Komar Glasser & Vertz LLC announces the addition of divorce attorney and certified business valuation analyst Ashley M. Majorsky.

Majorsky joins Pollock Begg as an associate attorney. Her distinct skill set, featuring degrees in accounting and forensic accounting, ideally positions her to focus her family law practice on meeting the unique equitable distribution, custody and support needs of clients with complex financial histories.

Majorsky began her career with four years of dedicated experience as a certified business valuation analyst before attending the University of Pittsburgh School of Law where she received the Law Alumni Association Scholarship, the John P. Gismondi Civil Litigation Certificate, the Nathan M. Raphael Memorial Scholarship and the Family Law Clinic’s CALI Excellence for the Future Award. While attending law school, she worked as a law clerk for the Family Law Clinic and Pollock Begg and served as editor of Pittsburgh Tax Review.

Majorsky has a special interest in the tax implications of divorce and has written extensively on the impact of the 2017 Tax Cuts & Jobs Act on family law.

She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and maintains active membership in the Allegheny County Bar, Westmoreland County Bar and Pennsylvania Bar associations.
