Pollock Begg Komar Glasser Attorney to Moderate Forum at Duquesne Law School

PITTSBURGH — Joseph R. Williams, an associate attorney at Downtown-based Pollock Begg Komar Glasser LLC, will moderate a roundtable discussion at Duquesne University on Thursday, October 13, at 5 p.m. The presentation is entitled “Job Search Strategies That Worked for Us — A Roundtable Discussion with members of the Allegheny County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division.” The four young lawyers participating in the debate will focus on how law school graduates can network in the legal community to obtain post-graduation employment and advancement opportunities.

The Young Lawyers Division of the Allegheny County Bar Association is co-sponsoring the event. In July 2011, Williams was elected to serve a two-year term on the Young Lawyers Division Council and is also the liaison between Duquesne Law School and the ACBA Young Lawyers Division. Williams received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Bethany College and his Juris Doctor from the Duquesne University School of Law.

Through the ACBA, Williams is active in the Family Law Section and the Young Lawyers Division where he serves as a member of the Young Lawyers Division Public Service and Member Services committees. He is a member of the Allegheny County Chapter of Matrimonial Inns of Court, which strives to enhance professionalism, knowledge, and ethics among the bench and bar. In 2010, Williams was selected as one of 15 young lawyers in Allegheny County to participate in the Bar Leadership Initiative 2010-11 Class.
