Pollock Begg Paralegal Cindy Wirtz Named President of PPA Board of Directors

PITTSBURGH — Downtown family law firm Pollock Begg Komar Glasser & Vertz LLC paralegal Cindy Wirtz is the new president for the Pittsburgh Paralegal Association. Wirtz, an active member of PPA, previously held the position of vice president in 2012-13.
An advocate for pro bono work and community involvement, Pollock Begg strongly encourages all of its employees to give back to the local community as well as volunteer within and contribute to legal organizations and associations whenever possible. The PPA is a voluntary, nonprofit association formed in 1977 to promote the professional development and continuing education of paralegals.

Wirtz also volunteers for Pittsburgh Action Against Rape and serves as a hotline volunteer counselor as well as oversees the Getting Started program for victims whose assaults occurred at least three years ago. She was previously recognized for excellence in legal services as the recipient of the 2012 Pro Bono Achievement Award from the Allegheny County Bar Association and the Allegheny County Bar Foundation.
