Pittsburgh Family Law Firm Pollock Begg Marks a Dozen Years on Best Law Firms Rankings

PITTSBURGH — Ranked for the 12^th time as a Pittsburgh Tier One Best Law Firm, the matrimonial law firm Pollock Begg is again recognized for the reputation and expertise of its attorneys in the areas of family law and family law mediation.

The 2023 ranking, announced today by U.S. News Media Group and Best Lawyers, notes superiority and scope of knowledge in family law. Pollock Begg has been a fixture on this prestigious list since U.S. News commenced rankings.

To be eligible, a firm must have at least one attorney who has received high enough peer-review ratings to be listed in the current edition of Best Lawyers. Earlier this year, Pollock Begg celebrated seven of the firm’s 16 family law attorneys clinching places in the 2023 Best Lawyers lineup. Partners Todd M. Begg, Daniel H. Glasser, Candice L. Komar, David S. Pollock, Heather Trostle Smith, Brian C. Vertz and Joseph R. Williams each earned spots in the 2023 guide.

In addition, Pollock Begg partners Todd Begg and Dan Glasser received Pittsburgh “Lawyer of the Year” honors for 2023 based on particularly impressive voting averages received during peer review assessments. Begg was named “Lawyer of the Year” in family law mediation while Glasser was voted “Lawyer of the Year” in family law arbitration.

The firm and its partners have a distinguished history of “Lawyer of the Year” accolades. In 2022, Komar was named “Lawyer of the Year” in family law mediation. Williams took the honor in family law arbitration, and Glasser was recognized in family law. Vertz was awarded the Pittsburgh “Lawyer of the Year” title in family law in 2019.
