Pittsburgh Family Law Firm Pollock Begg Named to U.S. News Best Law Firms Directory

PITTSBURGH — For the ninth year in a row, Pittsburgh family law firm Pollock Begg Komar Glasser & Vertz LLC receives recognition as a Tier One Best Law Firms recipient in the area of family law, according to rankings released by U.S. News Media Group and Best Lawyers for 2018. Pollock Begg has been included on this list every year since U.S. News commenced rankings in 2010.

This designation recognizes a combination of superiority and scope of knowledge in family law. To be eligible, a firm must have at least one attorney who has received high enough peer-review ratings to be listed in the current edition of Best Lawyers. Not just one, but all six partners from Pollock Begg were included in the 2018 Best Lawyers in America list, including the firm’s youngest partner, Joseph R. Williams.  It is extremely rare for a lawyer practicing fewer than 10 years to receive this recognition.

The “Best Law Firms” rankings are based on a combination of client feedback, information provided on the Law Firm Survey and the Law Firm Leaders Survey as well as Best Lawyers peer review.  U.S. News and Best Lawyers rank more than 12,000 firms in 122 practice areas in 177 metropolitan areas and eight states.
