Alyssa R. Angotti is an associate attorney at Pollock Begg with a practice spanning all areas of family law including complex equitable distribution and support cases involving business valuation. A keen strategist, Alyssa is adept at logically identifying and clarifying client priorities, facts and circumstances, to best position her clients. Relying on both her own experience and the decades of experience of her colleagues, she identifies future variables in her cases to avoid potential pitfalls down the road.
A Pittsburgh native, Alyssa previously worked as a legal intern for family court Judge Kim D. Eaton, as a law clerk at Woomer & Hall LLP, and as a research assistant at the Duquesne Center for Legal Information before joining Pollock Begg as a law clerk in 2015. As a member of the Pennsylvania and Allegheny County bar associations as well as the ACBA Young Lawyer’s Division, Alyssa is an active participant in the Pittsburgh legal community. She firmly believes being an engaged member of legal organizations is a lawyer’s responsibility to the advancement of the profession.
Alyssa achieved a bachelor’s degree in communications and a minor in English from The Pennsylvania State University before pursing her Juris Doctor at Duquesne University School of Law. She received multiple awards at Duquesne, including the CALI Excellence for the Future Award and McGinley Public Service Law Fellowship. She also coached the Appellate Moot Court team, and was a peer advisor at the university as well.
Maintaining a proper work-life balance is a priority to Alyssa, who is an avid runner, a season ticket holder to the Pittsburgh Ballet Theater and a foodie, immersed in the booming Pittsburgh restaurant scene!
