Pittsburgh Family Law Firm Pollock Begg Earns Reappearance on 2020 Super Lawyers, Rising Stars Rankings

PITTSBURGH — Distinguished as leaders in matrimonial law, Pittsburgh family law attorneys at Pollock Begg are again recognized on the 2020 Pennsylvania Super Lawyers, Pennsylvania Rising Stars and Pittsburgh Super Lawyers Top 50 lists.

Pollock Begg leadership has maintained space on these selective listings for more than a decade and is pleased to welcome another partner and associate to the latest lists. Each year, no more than 5% of the lawyers in the state are chosen for inclusion in the Super Lawyers list and no more than 2.5 % of lawyers are designated to Rising Stars rankings.

Partners David S. Pollock, Todd M. Begg, Daniel H. Glasser, Candice L. Komar and Brian C. Vertz all returned to the Super Lawyers list this year. Partner Heather Trostle Smith was named to the Super Lawyers listing for the first time this year, a testament to her continual high professional achievement which earns the respect and recognition of her peers. Heather previously was recognized five times on Super Lawyer’s Rising Stars list.

For the ninth year, Partner Joseph R. Williams was named to the Pennsylvania Rising Star list. Williams, 36, has been a fixture on this ranking designed to recognize the contributions of exceptional attorneys who are age 40 or under or practicing for less than 10 years.

Associate Meghan L. Zupancic captured her first Rising Stars recognition since joining Pollock Begg. She was named to the Rising Stars list four years running prior to joining the firm.

Achieving exceptional honors, two of the firm’s partners, Pollock and Vertz also garnered distinction on the Top 50: 2020 Pittsburgh Super Lawyers list, a recognition they’ve secured for 19 years between them.
